About Me

I live in Rye with my wife and two children. When not working or spending time with family, I enjoy numerous outdoor hobbies, including sailing, golf, tennis, paddle, fishing, and skiing. I was born and raised in the South (Florida and Alabama). I have degrees from Notre Dame (Architecture) and Cornell (MBA). I have also lived in New Orleans, Savannah GA, NYC, and Rome, Italy. An avid traveler, I have visited over 40 countries across 5 continents. I can solve a Rubik's Cube in under 2 minutes and am learning to speak Italian.

My Design Background

I received a Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame - focused on classical design and urban planning. As a trained architect, I have a passion for designing places where people live and work. I take a human centric approach to design - focusing how people will interact with a space, given their particular needs and wants. Every home is a reflection of the people who live there. My Design Inspiration

I studied and practiced traditional architecture and thus have a deep respect for and understanding of traditional building forms and functions. I practiced as a licensed architect in historic southern cities so appreciate and attuned to local design vernacular.

I Know Rye

Local to Rye

I know Rye. I am involved in the community. My wife is from Rye and my children are 5th generation Rye residents.

Over the last 7+ years and counting I have had the privilege to serve on the Rye Board of Architecture Review (BAR), including the last two as Chair. I have seen and continue to see every house renovation and new build happening in Rye. I know the local architects doing work in Rye, City and Building Department officials, and other City Board members.

I was previously Chair of the Rye Golf Club Commission.
